Key Responsibilities:
✅ Provide legal counsel on corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, and business operations.
✅ Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and corporate policies.
✅ Handle mergers, acquisitions, and cross-border business structures.
✅ Handle Asset Recovery and Disputes including preparing legal pleadings .
✅ Advise on corporate governance, risk management, and tax-related legal matters.
✅ Ensure compliance with local and international corporate regulations.
✅ Work closely with clients, government agencies, and financial institutions.
✅ Execute Legal Audit Engagements for clients .
Requirements:
🔹 LLB Degree from a recognized institution & Bar Membership in Jamaica.
🔹 Minimum 3-5 years of corporate law experience, preferably in a legal firm or corporate setting.
🔹 Strong expertise in corporate transactions, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
🔹 Knowledge of cross-border legal frameworks & tax law is a plus.
🔹 Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
🔹 Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
