Dawgen Global is an integrated multidisciplinary professional service firm in the Caribbean Region and provide several professional services including: audit ,accounting ,tax, IT, Risk, HR, Performance, M&A, corporate recovery and other advisory services.
We now seek two (2) Vibrant Attorneys to be Part of our Commercial Risk and Regulatory Team
The Commercial Risk and Regulatory Division comprises the Attorneys and other team members. It acts as the internal legal function of the Firm, overseeing regulatory compliance in Jamaica and overseas, and supporting the business in analysing legal risk for the Firm in the work it undertakes.

What Will You Be Doing?
Working closely with the other members of the Commercial and Regulatory Risk, you will play an important role in a broad range of matters related to the Firm, its clients and the development and growth of the Firm’s business. The team is based in Jamaica, but supports the Firm globally.
Legal Duties
- Providing legal advice to all areas of the Firm on a wide range of commercial and regulatory issues
- Contributing information and analysis on upcoming issues, legislation, regulatory change, market intelligence and best practice, and shaping strategies to anticipate change
- Contributing to and leading training in respect of risk and compliance issues to Partners and fee earners across the Firm
- Providing support to the Firm’s Procurement team, including reviewing or drafting contacts related to key supplier relationships
- Undertaking company secretarial activity (or equivalent) required in respect of entities that are affiliated to the Firm
- Advising clients on legal matters
- Working with external attorneys on client matters and drafting pleadings and other legal documents
- Assist in the establishment of our Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) Department
Compliance Duties
Contributing to the compliance strategy, structure and processes for the Firm, ensuring that compliance systems, processes and frameworks are robust yet practical
- Assisting the Firm in handling issues arising from the regulatory obligations of the Firm and the individuals in the Firm, including assisting in any reporting obligations
- Assisting on data protection compliance (including GDPR), policies, approach (including direct marketing)
