Transformation

Technology change that improves how your business works — without losing control of it.

Technology investments often disappoint when they are driven by vendors rather than by business needs. Digital transformation works when it starts from how your organisation operates, and is managed with the same discipline as any other investment.

Dawgen Global advises Caribbean businesses on technology strategy, systems selection and implementation, and the process and governance changes that make technology deliver value. We are independent — we do not resell software, so our advice is based on what fits you.

The challenge

Many Caribbean businesses run on aging systems, manual spreadsheets and disconnected tools, while customers, regulators and staff expect digital capability. Choosing new systems is difficult; implementing them well is harder. Projects commonly run over budget, arrive late, or fail to change how people actually work.

Who it is for

  • Businesses replacing legacy finance, ERP or core systems
  • Organisations digitising manual or paper-based processes
  • Leadership teams that need an independent view of technology options
  • Companies whose technology has grown piecemeal and no longer fits
  • Boards seeking assurance that IT investments are well governed

Signs you need us

  • Key processes depend on manual spreadsheets or single individuals
  • Your systems cannot produce the reports the business needs
  • A major system is end-of-life or no longer supported
  • Staff use workarounds because systems do not fit how the business works
  • A technology project has stalled, overrun or been abandoned

What you receive

  • A technology roadmap linked to your business priorities
  • A structured selection report for new systems, where required
  • Managed implementation with milestones, budget tracking and issue resolution
  • Documented processes and governance for your technology environment
  • Management reporting and dashboards designed around your decisions

How it works in practice

Illustrative example. A distribution company ran its finance, inventory and sales on disconnected tools, requiring days of manual reconciliation each month. We assessed their needs, managed the selection and implementation of an integrated system, and redesigned key processes alongside it. Month-end reporting dropped from two weeks to three days, and management gained real-time visibility of inventory.

Where we work

We offer all of our services in every territory we serve, with every engagement planned, reviewed and quality-controlled from our Caribbean headquarters in Kingston, Jamaica. Some regulated services are performed by affiliated firms; we will advise you of the arrangements when you make a request.

Frequently asked questions

Are you independent of software vendors?
Yes. We do not resell or take commissions on software, so our selection advice is based solely on what fits your needs.
Can you help us choose between specific systems?
Yes. We run a structured selection: requirements, demonstrations, reference checks and contract advice — so the decision is defensible.
We have a project that has stalled. Can you rescue it?
We start with an honest review of where the project stands, then agree a realistic recovery or exit plan with you and the vendor.
Will this disrupt our day-to-day operations?
Implementation always involves change, but we plan it in phases and manage the transition so core operations keep running.
How are your fees set?
Our fees are tailored to each client, based on the scope and complexity of the work and the agreed deliverables, and are set out in your engagement letter.
