Dawgen Global is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Corporate Attorney to join our growing legal team. As a trusted multidisciplinary professional services firm, Dawgen Global provides comprehensive services across accounting, auditing, legal advisory, and business consulting to clients in the Caribbean and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel on corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, and compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, NDAs, MSAs, and other corporate documents.
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance, corporate restructuring, and other legal requirements.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to stay abreast of developments in corporate law.
- Assist in the management of client relationships, ensuring effective communication and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the firm to support clients on diverse legal issues.
Key Qualifications:
- LLB degree from a recognized institution (LLM or other legal qualifications are a plus).
- Admitted to practice law in Jamaica or the Caribbean.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in corporate and commercial law.
- Expertise in drafting and negotiating a wide range of corporate legal documents.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and commercial law principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
